Phase 1 - Assessment

During Phase 1 of the Self Employment Program, the following activities will take place:

Referral from your EAS counselor to the Self Employment Program

Attendance at an Orientation Session

Participation in the Assessment & Planning Workshops

Complete Employment and Labour Market Services - Self Employment Program application paperwork with Employment Counsellor

Application forwarded to Employment and Labour Market Services – approximately 3 weeks for approval

Upon approval from ELMS, you will enter into Phase 2  of the Self Employment Program.  At this point, the 52 week program begins.
